Sioux Falls, SD \u2013 30th<\/sup> August 2026<\/span><\/b> – P<\/span>lexusAV, the professional AV division of Sencore and provider of a suite of human-focused AV-over-IP solutions, today announced the appointment of PAVT as its authorised distribution partner for Australia and New Zealand.<\/span><\/p>

The partnership marks another important step in PlexusAV’s growth across the Asia-Pacific region, giving system integrators and AV professionals in Australia and New Zealand local access to its high-performance, open-architecture AV-over-IP solutions built on the IPMX standard, alongside dedicated sales and technical support.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0About PAVT<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/u><\/b><\/p>

PAVT was founded by Colin and Margaret Stevenson in 1984.\u00a0 Colin, a pioneering figure in Australian TV audio at a major Australian television network, as well as a highly respected broadcast audio professional. Colin was instrumental in innovating the audio experience for studio and outside broadcasting, introducing groundbreaking techniques to enhance live sports audio. (In many cases, world firsts).<\/span><\/p>

As the audio director and department head for the Nine Network, Colin worked on high profile productions, including concert performances by Neil Diamond, Elton John, and Dire Straits. On retirement from the Channel 9 network, his expertise was called upon to design and manage the live audio telecast of the Sydney 2000 Olympic games.<\/span><\/p>

Co-incident with his television career the Stevensons along with their son Graeme, developed PAVT as a leading Australian wholesaler of high technology AV products representing many high-end brands, to a market of production companies, broadcasters and <\/span>AV system Integrators. Graeme Stevenson took over management of PAVT in 2012, and the company has further developed across the spectrum of AV products, technologies and services.<\/span><\/p>
